Care Programme for Family Members

We are happy to welcome you and your family. Doctors actually prefer it if the patient’s family is around as it speeds up recovery. All accompanying persons enjoy the same level of service as our patients, except for the medical treatment, of course. While you are in hospital, we take care of your family.

Holiday programme
Munich with its wonderful scenic surroundings, famous sightseeing, shopping and places for relaxation is one of Germany’s foremost tourist destinations. It’s close to the Alps, has rivers, lakes and historic buildings such as castles, so there is plenty to see.
During your stay in hospital we will show your family a good time. From guided tours in the mountains, wellness programmes, public thermal baths, a visit to the zoo or adventure park, we can offer something for everyone. Munich’s centre is ideal for sightseeing or shopping and tours are offered in many languages. A lot of entertainment, such as opera, classical music, modern pop concerts or cultural festivals will be awaiting you. And we are certain that you will want to return.

Possibilities for receiving medical checks
We are well aware that certain specialist medical examinations may not be available in some countries, so family members will have the opportunity to go for a medical examination at a hospital or treatment centre while here. Germany has many specialist medical institutions known for their diagnostic expertise based on advanced technologies, clinical investigations and lab analyses. Doctors here are able to give competent advice for subsequent medical treatment in your native country.
