Foreign medical doctors benefit from special training programmes arranged by HCCD. German hospitals offer a wide-range of specialist training on an international level with regard to clinical and research work as a matter of course.
Doctors are involved in everyday clinical procedures or work in research labs. They work in professional medical teams of qualified doctors, technical assistants and nursing staff. University hospitals are renowned for their clinical research success, which is of great benefit to foreign doctors who work there. It means, for instance, that by working in the tumour centre of a university hospital the medical practitioner also gains invaluable skills in the other marginal fields due to the interdisciplinary nature of hospital operations.
Training courses can last for a few weeks, months and even years and are carefully planned by HCCD to ensure maximum benefit for both our foreign doctors and our patients. These doctors are trained here to improve the medical health care in their native countries and to improve health care systems in general. The strong bond that is established between these doctors and HCCD results in them frequently continuing to work with us on our medical projects abroad after their training has come to an end.
